- Associated with Dredging industry for 30 years assuming different roles and responsibilities including Heading Operations, Business Development, Tendering and Estimation.
- Vast experience in various levels of Dredger operations in different types of dredgers including 15 Years of experience as Captain of Dredgers.
- Carried out a number of Dredging Projects successfully including overseas projects, worked as Project Coordinator involving six trailer dredgers, worked as Area Manager & project manager for multinational companies.
- Was Member of Research and Development Committee for the 10th Five Year Plan of Government of India Also an R & D Member for EADA
- Extensive experience in preparing estimates for dredging works, planned dry docking repair specifications along with estimated budgets, carrying out regular inspections on board vessels, planned maintenance systems for dredgers, preparation of various ISM documentation for dredgers, executing dredging projects, pre-purchase negotiations to name a few.
- Is Post graduate Degree in Management and undergone a Dredging Training Programme in Training Institute of Dredging, Holland.
- Is Post graduate Certificate in Project Management, and pursuing Environmental Law.
Capt. Sudesh. L. Honnavalli
- Associated with marine industry for over 32 years assuming different roles and responsibilities.
- Expertise in all ranks of a dredger, sailing on merchant vessels in all ranks including as Master on Oil Tankers.
- Headed dredging project including starting up a full-fledged dredging division.
- Extensive experience in preparing estimates for dredging works, planned dry docking repair specifications along with estimated budgets, carrying out regular inspections on board vessels, planned maintenance systems for dredgers / ships, preparation of various ISM documentation for dredgers / ships, executing dredging projects.
- Worked extensively on Water Injection Dredgers.
- Assisted in Salvage operations using Water Injection Dredgers.
- Carried out trenching works by trailer dredgers.
- Undertaken various inland dredging projects.
- Undertaken a number of inspection & negotiations for purchase of dredgers.
- Heading Project Management Consultancy monitoring for dredging and reclamation works.
